All bookings at Daydream Laguna Resort are subject to these Booking Conditions.
Policies& Pledges
The Daydream Laguna Resort Pledge
When you have a guaranteed reservation at Daydream Laguna Resort and we are unable to accommodate you for any reason, we will arrange accommodation for you at another Resort at our expense. We will provide you with complimentary transportation back to our resort when we have suitable availability.
Booking Policy:
Accommodation/day tours. 50% deposit is to be paid by cash (either directly to the resort or by deposit into our Account), these funds must be received by the resort within 7 days of booking confirmation.
We accept cash, credit cards and traveler’s cheques.
Please Note: There are no EFTPOS or ATM facilities available at the resort.
Authorization is charged to credit cards upon check in. All expenses incurred by the guest will be charged to the card.
Rate is subject to 10% service charge, 12% VAT and 0.6% government tax
Cash Policy:
If you do not have the availability of a credit card and wish to pay by cash, the following conditions apply:
You are required to wire money as 50% deposit to our resort account to confirm your booking reservation, or pay at our office.
Room charges must be paid for in full upon check-in.
Extra costs must be paid for in full at the time of the transaction.
Rate is subject to 10% service charge,12% VAT and 0.6% government tax
No credit facility is available without a credit card authority.
Walk-Ins:
Daydream Laguna Resort will always do what ever it can to please our customers. If, however, day guests walk-in for lunch or other meals without reservation, and we are unable to cope because of other guests previous bookings, we apologize to these people as booking much be made in advance.
Day use policy:
Normal check-in 2:00pm check –out 10:00am Subject to availability, guests may have day use of the room until 4:00pm at half of the normal charge of the room. After 4:00pm guest will be charged the full rate.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 72hrs from 4pm on the check in date, are without penalty.
If cancellations occur within 72hours from 4pm of check in date, the cancellation fee will be the cost of one night’s accommodation or 50% of the cost of the day tour.
We will refund this money within 7 working days if the deposit was paid by cash.
If the deposit was paid by credit card, we will notify the credit company of the refund at the time of the cancellation.
Early arrival policy:
Any guests that arrive early before the check-in date or time will still be required to pay for early room occupancy if available.
Late check-out policy:
Guests maybe permitted to have a late check-out after informing the Reception, if it is approved. You may be required to pay half the amount of the full day rate if the late check-out is before 6:00pm. After 6:00pm the guest will be required to pay full price of the room rate for that day as the resort will not be able to let the room out to any body else.
No Show Policy:
Any Guest with a confirmed booking is required to pay the full amount that they have previously agreed from the date of check-in and date of check-out.
For example:
3 rooms booked and only 2 rooms occupied, the guest will still pay for 3 rooms they have booked.
20 people booked for day tours package and only 15 people turn up on the date of arrival, the guest will still get charged for 20 people for the day tour package.
30 people booked for lunch/dinner/cocktails/birthday, or any event and only 15 people show up, the guest will still get charged for the full amount of the original booking reservation. To avoid any situation/matter like this, please refer to our cancellation policy.
Credit Card Policy: .
At the time of your booking request, the full quoted amount will be blocked / authorized on your credit card. Only when the booking is confirmed will the credit card be charged (for Instant Availability bookings this is at the time of the booking request).
Payment transactions on the daydream Laguna resort website are verified by ( BDO) Banko De Oro, Surigao City, Philippines.
Our payment system currently accepts the following payment methods:
- Visa
- American Express
- Master Card
We will charge the percentage of commission for credit company transaction .We will also charge 12% VAT, 0.6% government tax and 10% service fee.
In some instances daydream Laguna resort shall send by email the Credit Card Data Authorization form; you must return the completed Credit Card Data Authorization form to daydream Laguna resort by fax along with a copy of the cardholder's passport and credit card showing the signature in order to confirm and conclude the booking process. Where this has been requested, the booking shall not be considered confirmed until daydream Laguna resort has received the Authorization. We draw your attention in particular to the fact that we strongly recommend Travel insurance.
Insurance:
You are advised to take out adequate travel insurance prior to arriving in your destination. It is your responsibility to check you have adequate insurance cover. The insurance should cover, amongst other things, the cost of cancellation by you, personal losses, all medical costs and the costs of assistance including return to your home country / departure country in the event of an accident or illness
Guest Belongings Policy:
Guests are required to look after their personal items. Any unattended belongings daydream Laguna resort will not shoulder any responsibility for loss or damage.
Age Commitment and Responsibility:
You warrant that you are 18 years of age or over and have legal capacity to use the daydream Laguna resort site and to create a legally binding contract.
You warrant that all personal information submitted during accommodation bookings and membership registration is correct and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account.
You hereby authorize daydream Laguna resort to ask for and to collect from the accommodation provider all personal information about you and the persons named on the booking that has been obtained in connection with your booking. Personal information shall be deemed to include, but not be limited to: any telephone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses, addresses of residences, signatures, ID or passport copies, or any other information belonging to you or your group that the accommodation provider may have access to.

Children/Adult Policy:
Parents are required to look after their own children. Children should not be permitted to run around, swim or engage in sports with out authority while they are at the resort. Daydream Laguna resort will not be held responsible for any accident or injury.

We use the information this website gathers strictly for marketing purposes such as determining travel patterns, tailoring promotions and working with affiliated partners. Unless you have expressly opted not to participate when providing us with your personal information, we may share certain information with our carefully selected partners or merchants for marketing purposes.
The information we gather is not financially sensitive i.e., we do not gather credit card or bank numbers; we do not use any encryption in transmission. Family Plan:
Daydream Laguna Resort family plan provides children under 12 free accommodation when staying in the same room with their parent. Extra bed can also be provided with an additional charge of 550.00 in the floating villa’s,750 in the mangrove deluxe, 950 in the river view suite. Should more than one room be required to accommodate your family, each additional room will be charged based on the normal rate for adult occupancy.
Resort Information Policy:
Any inquiries can be made by phone, fax or e-mail or personal representation to the resort. However, Items such a menus, etc., and information used in the resort cannot be removed from the premises, this is strictly prohibited. Please refer to our privacy policy.
Day Tours Policy:
Day tours are only permitted during certain times of the day and specific areas. Privacy/respect for other guests and neighbors always applies. Day tours are not permitted in the resort if guest paying for accommodation or meals require privacy.
Daydream Laguna Resort provides day tour packages. Any extras, special requests, birthdays, weddings, functions or special occasions, maybe arranged for additional payment.
Sport Activities Policy:
All quests are required to obey and follow the rules and regulations for safety all the time.
. Passengers must wear a life jacket all the time ,whether in the boat, kayaking, snorkeling, banana boat, knee boarding swimming, etc., Any passenger or guest who refuses to wear a life jacket carries full responsibility for their own life and at their own risk!!
. Passengers/guests must stay in the place/area/location that the Daydream Laguna Resort staff recommend for any activities. Day dream Laguna resort will not be held responsible for any accident or damage to the guests personally or their property. All activities and day tours are at the guests own risk.
Force Majeure:
Daydream Laguna resort will not be liable for any changes, cancellation, and effect on your booking, loss or damage suffered by you or for any failure by the accommodation providers and/or daydream Laguna resort to perform or properly perform any of our respective obligations to you which is due to any event(s) or circumstance(s) if the non performance is caused by force majeure. By way of example force majeure includes, but is not limited to, war, revolution, terrorist act, closure of borders, epidemic/disease, natural catastrophe/or bad weather, or other causes that seriously affect both parties and in particular the place where the accommodation provider is located as well as the country of origin of daydream Laguna resort and other unforeseeable causes beyond daydream Laguna resort’ control.
Safety & Security:
The world may present heightened security challenges but we at daydream Laguna resort have always considered guest comfort and safety as our highest priority.
These include:
Reinforcement of our staff awareness program that states “all staff are part of the security team” and are responsible for looking after your safety and security.
We have assigned guards at key areas which are monitored by a trained security officers’ agency, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.
Security staffs participate in security workshops to ensure they are thoroughly trained to deal with emergencies of all types.
We have assigned fire/life/safety officers whose responsibility is to help protect our guests and property.
Daydream Laguna resort is renowned for the luxury experience it provides guests and you can rest assured that well do our utmost to ensure your well-being and safety.
Resort Safety Policies:
Eagles nest. Guests should not sit down on the edges or the hand rails of this structure for safety reasons.
Eagles nest is designed only for sight seeing. If the resort has no other guest you are permitted to stay in the eagles nest any time you want but only until 10:00pm for safety reasons.
If there are other guests in the resort you are permitted to stay in the eagles nest for 5 minutes and maximum of 8 people at the time and smoking is strictly prohibited. Please refer to our smoking policy.
Guests are permitted to have dinner in the eagles nest. (minimum 2 people and maximum 4),subject to availability.
Alcohol Consumption limits in Eagles Nest (to ensure guest safety)
3 small bottles of beer maximum per person.
3 glasses of wine maximum per person
3 shots of any spirit/liquor maximum person
Drinks will only be served to 18 years old or above.
Children less than 12 years old are not permitted at eagles nest without parent’s supervision.
Guests and their children are not permitted to act dangerously, play or run around or run up and down while using the eagles nest.
Guests are not permitted to sleep in the eagles nest day/night under any circumstances.
Guest must be personally responsible for the health and safety for themselves and their children. Daydream Laguna Resort will not be liable or carry any responsibility for any accident, injury or insurance claim.
Cabanas/decks /plant box policy:
Cabanas are designed for guest convenience and relaxation purposes only.
Guests can quietly use the cabanas until 11:00pm but not for sleeping purposes.
Day tours guests are allowed to use the cabanas, if they are available, but resort guests have first priority.
Persons not registered in the resort reservation system are not allowed to stay in the resort or sleep in the cabanas. Guests’ security guards are allowed to stay in the resort and look after the employer but they are not permitted to sleep anywhere around the resort, especially the cabanas. No one is allowed sleep in the cabanas or anywhere inside the resort without paying for room accommodation at night time. Guests’ must provide accommodation for their own personal driver or other employees or friends; otherwise they are not permitted in the resort after 11:00pm.
Guests should not sit or lean on the plant boxes/deck hand rail for extra safety purposes.
Guests should not act dangerously in the resort, especially when the deck floor is wet. Daydream Laguna resort will not accept liability or carry any responsibility for any guest accident.
Smoking policy:
Smoking is not permitted and strictly prohibited by the law. Anyone caught smoking will be reported to the Police and charged 50.000 pesos. Any person caught smoking will be sued and shoulders all resort cost for any damage caused by burning or fired damages.
To all the people wanting to smoke, please advise our staff to organize transfers for you and they will take you straight right away into the jetty where you can legally smoke.
Best rate guarantee
To ensure that you are always getting the best deal. Daydream Laguna resort guarantees that the room rates on our web site are the lowest possible available on the internet. Within 24 hours of making a booking at our room lowest rate on this website, if you do find a publicly available room rate on another web site that is lower than your booking, daydream Laguna resort will honour that lower rate

Daydream Laguna resort guarantees to provide the lowest room rate available on www.daydreamlaguna.com the internet, subject to the following terms and conditions:
Guest must have a confirmed reservation that is booked online on www.daydreamlaguna.com and quote such confirmation number when making a claim.
Claim must be made within 24 hours of the confirmed online booking on www.daydreamlaguna.com.
Both original daydream’s Laguna Resort online booking room rate and the competing rate must be room only without inclusions like meals, transportation, other services, etc.
The competing rate must be available for booking with the exact matching booking requirement as the original daydream online booking, i.e. same resort same number of guests, same room type, same arrival and departure dates.
This guarantee does not apply to:
Opaque or auction sites where the resort brand/or specific resort is not known until booking is finalized.
Web site that ”package” travel entertainment, hotel and/or food components such as airfare and hotel stay, Hotel stay and car rental ,hotel stay and restaurant voucher, ect.
Package rates that include taxes, service charges, meals coupon, boat, taxi ,or other amenities.
Qualified discount rates including, but not limited to, government, travel industry discount, long stay, ect.
Unpublished, negotiated rates with corporations, travel agencies, groups, associations, or other rates that are specifically agreed upon by daydream Laguna resort, or rates not available to the general public, including without limitation rates requiring memberships in a club, affinity programs, or other organizations where the rates are specifically made available to a specific group of individual.
Daydream Laguna Resort best rate cannot be combined with other offers or Promotions (including without limitation, coupon promotion) and is void where prohibited by law.
This guarantee applies on to the room rate for the duration of the reservation and does not apply to taxes, gratuities, guest incidental charges, food and beverage charges, resort fees, and any other charges that may be incurred during the guest’s stay.
Daydream Laguna resort has the sole right and discretion to determine the validity of any claim, including without limitation, determining that the competing rate is genuinely available and that the claim meets all the term and conditions. In case of dispute, Daydream Laguna Resorts decision is final.
This guarantee is subject to change or revocation at any time.
